KUANTAN, PAHANG | 18 SEPTEMBER 2026 – Amat Bayu Sdn. Bhd., a member of Tadau Group, has formalized a Collaboration Agreement with the United Arab Emirates to develop a wind turbine project in Pekan, Pahang.
The signing ceremony, held at Hyatt Regency Kuantan Resort, was graced by Kebawah Duli Paduka Baginda Sultan of Pahang, Al-Sultan Abdullah Ri’ayatuddin Al-Mustafa Billah Shah, and Kebawah Duli Paduka Mulia Tengku Mahkota Pahang, Tengku Hassanal Ibrahim Alam Shah Ibni Al-Sultan Abdullah Ri’ayatuddin Al-Mustafa Billah Shah.
The agreement was signed on behalf of Amat Bayu by Amat Bayu Director, YH. Dato’ Ahmad Najmi bin Abdul Razak, alongside representatives from the United Arab Emirates.
“We believe this project can serve as an important platform to build local experience, generate valuable data and, ultimately, provide a stronger foundation for larger-scale wind energy development in Malaysia,” said Dato’ Ahmad Najmi.
The ceremony was attended by Pahang Chief Minister YAB Dato’ Sri Diraja Haji Wan Rosdy bin Wan Ismail and UAE Ambassador to Malaysia H.E. Mubarak Saeed Ahmed Burshaid Al Dhaheri.
